Cameron Muir is a freelance writer, editor and researcher. His writing has appeared in Griffith Review, Meanjin, Overland, the Guardian, Australian Book Reviewand Best Australian Science Writing, among other publications. His work has been shortlisted in the NSW Premier’s History Awards, the Eureka Prize for Science Journalism and the Bragg UNSW Press Prize for Science Writing. He is co-editing a book titled Living with the Anthropocene: Love, loss and hope in the face of environmental crisis (NewSouth 2020) and working on a book about punishment and violence (NewSouth).
