Senior Science Engagement Officer, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning

Jodi Braszell is a Senior Science Engagement Officer at the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP). She works for the multi-agency program ‘Safer Together’, where land and fire management agencies in the Victorian emergency management sector are working collaboratively with communities to collectively reduce bushfire risk. Jodi is using science communications and behavioural science methods to help improve the community’s understanding of bushfire risk and to increase (or nudge) more effective community risk reduction actions.
