Vhairi Mackintosh

STEM Communication Officer, Whittlesea Tech School

Dr Vhairi Mackintosh is an earth scientist by trade with diverse experience in science research, communication and education. She has spent the past decade engaging others in STEM around the globe, including teaching undergraduate science students in Scotland and Australia, tutoring maths to students in Canada, working as the lead science communicator for Science Gallery Melbourne, teaching students how to fly drones and writing about science for Cosmos Magazine. She currently works at the Whittlesea Tech School where she co-designs and facilitates STEM inquiry programs and engagement experiences that build science literacy and communication skills in the young people of Melbourne’s north.
