A communications strategist, storyteller, writer and improviser, Vicki Kyriakakis is passionate about helping people and organisations build transformative stories from the inside out. Beyond simply telling good stories or translating science, she works to create change by deeply challenging existing narratives and creating powerful new alternatives.
She has worked for over 20 years in communications, including with the environmental movement, and sustainable development researchers and educators to build momentum towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Her passion is stories, in all shapes and sizes, and she is an emerging writer and improviser. Her first middle grade manuscript – The Book That Broke The World – was shortlisted for the 2018 Ampersand Prize. She is also a trained improviser, and has performed with Impro Melbourne, The Impro Box, Die Nasty Soap-a-thon, and at the national Impro Convention.
